Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy

To speak with a hypertrophic cardiomyopathy specialist, call 410-328-7877.

Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy occurs because of a thickening of the heart muscle, forcing the heart to work harder. This can narrow the heart chamber and limit blood flow. It may be associated with sudden death and may not show any symptoms prior to an episode.
